The name Croatia is derived from that of a people called Croats (Hrvat, Chrobatos) i.e. "the nation ready to defend its home and rights" - ZA DOM SPREMNI (Ready for the homeland!) also known as "White Croatia" or "Great Croatia" - Velika Hrvatska. In 1519 Croatia was given the honorary title Antemurale Christianitatis by Pope Leon X "The bastion of Christianity", the old phrase dating from the Mediaeval Crusades, urging it to continue to resist against the Turks. Croatia has remained to be the same for 13 centuries now cause they defend their country and people. Their motto is God -- Family -- Fatherland. There are two types of people who call Croats Nazis: the first ones are jealous cause they are not Croats, the second ones are people who don't respect Croat culture or don't have a clue what the Croat culture is about.
